The xx – Coexist; Mog 2012 playlists; Jens Lekman – I Know What Love Isn’t
The fella and I were supposed to head up to Chapel Hill for the weekend – one of our favorite places. Turns out one of the members of Yeasayer had a baby! One of the only valid reasons to cancel a show in my book. Hopefully we’ll make it up for the postponed show in November.
I love Mog & Spotify for listening to music. I tried the trial versions of both and I liked the Mog iphone app better. The fella and I subscribe to Mog for $10/month and to us it’s completely worth it. You can save music to your phone to listen to it later without having to stream it or be stuck to a wifi. Spotify probably does it too by now? I feel like Mog has a bigger, more varied selection than Spotify, but I’m sure that’s not true. It’s so frustrating when neither one has what you want to listen to. The ‘Just For You’ feature is awesome and at times hilarious. It’s worth checking out the trial version if only for the recommendations. Maybe I’ll start posting playlists eventually.
